This year we raised funds to support a local, Jake Brook, who was “king hit” @ Dorrigo and now requires constant care. Read his story at

The Ride has been shortened to two days.  It takes you through some of the most scenic and challenging areas of the NSW coast. From beautiful beaches to lush, pristine rainforests and cool mountain streams and rivers this is one cycle trip that “has it all”. Here is a taste of the Ride:

Day 1
We leave early from Coffs Harbour city centre and make our way over Bruxner Lookout with scenic views of the coast. Then through rainforests, undulating open landscape, & onto Kungala region for lunch. Enjoy the first afternoon after cycling with a swim in the river (or warm shower) and comfortable cabins at the Nymboida Canoe Centre.

Day 2
We return to Coffs Harbour along picturesque East Bank Rd through to Coramba and down into Coffs Harbour.

Day One: Coffs Harbour to Nymbodia Distance 109 Km

What do I bring?

We are proposing to provide a support vehicle and trailer to take small packs for participants. Please bring sleeping bag, change of clothes, toiletries, towel, swimmers, bike tube, torch, jacket for cold/rain. There will be limited bike support tools and equipment e.g. hand pump.

Do I need a mountain bike?

No. The road is sealed the whole route.

How fit do I need to be for the Ride?

You need to be comfortable cycling for longer distances and climbing hills. This is not about speed, rather it is about achieving the challenge of distance with some reasonable hills.

Are there toilets located along the Ride?

Yes, mostly in towns along the way. Lunch on Day 1 does not have toilet facilities.

Is there an age limit?

Yes. The minimum age for participants is 16 years.
